I am not religious, nor is Daddy so it doesn’t feature in my relationship.

I am aware there are certain dynamics of submission that are key in some religions, however I am not really comfortable with things like that. I will admit I don’t know a lot about them but what I have heard about makes me feel a bit like its less BDSM and more a controlling partner.

Part of the fun of being submissive to Daddy is that I am making that choice and I am gifting him my submission. I can, should I need to, take away that gift. If it was part of my religion, I would not have that ability so if my partner pushed past my boundaries or worse, I don’t think it would be as easy to stop him.

Even if I was to marry Daddy, I still have that freedom to stop if I need to – religion, in my opinion, makes that water a little muddy.

But like I said, that’s just me and if that is the dynamic that someone lives and is happy then more power to them. I know there are people who don’t like my particular branch of the sub tree and that’s OK too.
